The SIMS Website was designed to serve as an
international, interactive information resource for practitioners
of the Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS). The server is
sponsored by the Annual Workshop on SIMS. In the spirit of the
Annual SIMS workshop, we hope that this site will be used for the
exchange of practical information about SIMS. Some
highlights are:
The latest information on the two largest SIMS-only
scientific conferences; the biennial International SIMS
conference and the Annual Workshop on SIMS.
A database section where we maintain a directory of SIMS
users from around the world that includes additional
information such as email and www addresses, instrumentation
used and research interests.
A current listing of job openings available in the SIMS
community.
Email discussion forums on any aspect of analysis or
instrument repair.
A bulk email service to rapidly exchange ideas and
information to all SIMS list service
